Who is IDEAS?: IDEAS raises awareness of through education and . IDEAS provides quality of life enhancing programs for children and young adults afflicted with intestinal diseases and their families. IDEAS conducts on behalf of all people living with intestinal diseases.
We envision a society free of the social stigma attached to intestinal diseases.
IDEAS sponsors the Uncover Ostomy website, camping programs for young persons, motivational speaking to children, World Ostomy day and the IDEAS laboratory at UBC Okanagan.
Funds raised at the Phoenix Perennials weekend will support our children’s camping program.

How it Works: Gardeners who wish to support our charity can come shopping at Phoenix Perennials on our designated Charity Shopping Weekend. When you pay for your plants, tell the cashier that you have come to support our charity and Phoenix Perennials will donate 25% of the price of your plants to our worthy cause. But remember: you must tell the cashier why you have come to the nursery on that day or they won’t know to donate the proceeds from your sale. Other than that, it’s pretty simple: all you have to do is shop!
